How to Install Your FAVPRO Address Plaque
Installing your new address plaque is simple and takes just a few minutes. Follow this step-by-step guide for a professional result that will last for years.
Tools Needed
- Electric drill
- Level
- Pencil
- Measuring tape
- Screwdriver (if needed)
Step 1: Choose the Location
Select a location clearly visible from the street, ideally at eye level (approximately 1.5 to 1.8 meters from the ground). Ensure the location is flat and free of debris.
Step 2: Mark the Holes
Use the provided drilling template (if included) or measure and mark the hole locations with a pencil. Use a level to ensure the plate will be perfectly straight.
Step 3: Drill the Holes
Drill pilot holes at the marked locations. For brick or concrete surfaces, use a masonry drill bit. For wood or vinyl, a standard drill bit is suitable.
Step 4: Install the Plaque
Align the plate with the pre-drilled holes and insert the provided screws. Tighten firmly but not excessively to avoid damaging the material. If your plate is a 3D floating type, install the spacers first before attaching the numbers.
Step 5: Finishing Touches
If screw covers are provided, install them for a cleaner look. Clean the surface of the plate with a soft cloth to remove fingerprints.
Maintenance Tips
Your FAVPRO products are designed to withstand Canadian weather, but occasional cleaning with mild soapy water will extend their like-new appearance.
